Rocco

Rocco is a Sun Conure with a heart full of sunshine and a personality that’s larger than life! He joined the Majick Feathers flock in 2023, becoming the third Sun Conure in our avian family — and he’s been brightening up our days ever since.

Rocco’s journey to us has been quite the adventure. We are proud to be his third home, and we’re so glad that his story led him to Majick Feathers. From the moment he arrived, he settled right in, quickly finding his place among the flock and stealing hearts everywhere he goes.

True to his species, Rocco is social, affectionate, and bursting with character. Whether he’s riding on a shoulder, showing off his colours, or chatting with visitors, Rocco absolutely loves being around people. His confidence and charm make him a natural in our interactive shows, where he happily joins in on the fun and adds a splash of colour and joy to every event.

Like many Sun Conures, Rocco is convinced he’s the boss — and honestly, we can’t argue with him! 😄 With a personality to rival our biggest Macaws, he struts his stuff with pride, always ready to make new friends and remind everyone that good things really do come in small, feathery packages.

But it’s not all attitude with Rocco — he’s also incredibly sweet and affectionate with his human flock. He loves attention, snuggles, and being part of whatever’s happening. His playful energy and sunny disposition make him a fan favourite both on and off the stage.

At Majick Feathers, we believe in “Training over Taming”, empowering each bird to make choices and engage on their own terms. Rocco thrives with positive reinforcement training, which allows his personality to shine while keeping him happy, confident, and comfortable during his appearances.
