Our Bird Grade Tasmanian Walnuts are exactly the same premium walnuts as those sold for human consumption. The only difference is their size.

Bird Grade walnuts are generally the smaller walnuts from the harvest. They may not meet the sizing specifications for premium retail human packaging, but they are just as fresh, nutritious, and delicious. In fact, many people find the smaller walnuts to be slightly sweeter than their larger counterparts.

For parrots, the smaller size is often an advantage, making them easier for many birds to hold, manipulate, and crack open while still providing all the natural enrichment and nutritional benefits they love.
