Vet tape will only stick to its self. If used for a medical purpose it will not pull out your parrots feathers when removed hence the name vet tape.

Recently it has become very popular to use to cover home made stands or other slippery surfaces to allow a parrot to grip without the use of harsh glues which can be very toxic to your parrot.
